More Vegas BJ tournaments for April

[TXtourplayer]

Hi all here's some more tournaments I learned about this month in Las Vegas and Henderson.

Union Plaza 13-15 VIP
Paris 14-17 VIP
NY/NY 15-17 $499 entry
Fitgeralds 24-26 $199 entry
Green Valley Ranch 24-25 VIP

Double check all dates, sometimes days are added before and after tournaments to keep players longer.

Also the Wed. Green Valley mini's have gone to every other week instead of weekly, this week (on the 7th) they will be hosting one.

Speaking of April tournaments......

"Big brother is watching. Casino operators have the technology to count every chip a player wagers and remember every card dealt. The Las Vegas Hilton is testing one such system. It uses concealed cameras, image-recognition software and a special shuffling shoe to record each player's statistics through a casino-issued identity card. The pit manager can monitor any game, check out any gambler and spot possible card counters. Think some gamblers might resent being watched by the house? "
Ouch!

They've been using this at the LVH for a while now. When I first saw it I asked a few questions and got mixed answers depending on who the dealer was at the time. The "bosses" politely ignored the question.

The dealers have an lcd menu in the front of the chip tray and they can key in number of players, position, chip count, concealed cards, etc. The cameras at mounted under a slightly raised "lip" the makes the semi-circle from 1B to 3B position.

A lot of the dealers weren't happy with it and I witnessed more than one malfunction. One table I was at had to resort to traditional card peek when the lcd quit functioning.
