Evidently the $100K 'Sail into Cash BJack Tourn.' held at the Grand Casino, GPT, MS. 1/28,29,30/05 was such a success that the casino is seriously thinking about hosting this tournament every three months. The 'drop' for this three day event was better than the New Years holiday we are told. This info is from a reliable source affiliated w/ the Grand Casino. Will keep forum updated as info becomes available.

I wish I could find a smiley that has Snoopy's celebration dance. I guess this one will have to do:
:celebrate

That's awesome news. This is a really nice event, and so close to home for me!

That really is good news. That bunch I brought down for "Sail Into Cash" will definitely be back. :D Not only was the tournament a lot of fun but they loved the Voodoo Groove :joker:.

Too bad it is 1000 miles from me! :( My wife and I will have to get down that way sooner or later though.

From the crowd that gathered at the sports bar to watch WSOB that Friday, I surmised that there was a good representation from members of this board at the Sail into Cash tournament. Did anyone from here make the final table?

I got a postcard today from the Grand Casino Gulfport:

Thank you so much for joining us at this spectacular event. The $100,000 Sail into Cash Blackjack Tournament at Grand Casino Gulfport was a huge success! Due to the large demand for this event, we anticipate having more in the future. So, check with us in a couple of months for information. We look forward to any comments or suggestions you have about this event, the casino or hotel. As usual we hope your experience with us was GRAND and that you enjoyed your trip.

Sincerely,
