Shocked over last night! I really liked Detroit last night and for the first 6 innings they looked good, but slips and over thrown balls were their down fall. Tonight Verlander goes again for Detroit and St. Louis ripped him in game one. Sundays Picks Today I try and rebound from last weeks Carolina/Washington upset. Here goes: 50* San Diego - 6 ---------------------------------- Lost Buffalo's win streak ends today, to much LT. This part was true, they just failed to hold on to the cover. 10* Dallas - 3 --------------------------------------- PUSH This game scares me a little with NY at home, but they are just so banged up and Dallas is really looking good now. I hope I don't fall into a trap here. It ended up being a close game. 7* NY Jets - PK ------------------------------------- WON I'm not betting on the Jets as much as I am betting against Green Bay. Pretty much on the money on this game. 5* KC - 4 1/2 --------------------------------------- Lost Larry Brown is a Monster, he'll open up the pass for Green. Brown over 100 yards, Green with a big passing day and they still lose the game. 5* Minn. + 9 ----------------------------------------- Lost Chicago is tough, but this is a big rivaly. Minn. should have won the first game this year. I'll take the 9 points in this one. Chicago scored 16 non-offencive points in this game to cover by 1 point. 3* Miami + 1 ----------------------------------------- Lost Since Culpepper was taken out of the QB position, they have been playing good ball. This is the first time I picked them after been burnt with them in both the first two weeks of the season. Burnt again, Miami scored first and Jax scored all the rest. Good luck today. Damm, I went 1-3-1 today! Two of the games I lost and the push were within the last two minutes or overtime, (regardless they were losers). I was up for the year (in NFL) I think I have fallen in the hole over the pass two weeks.
Hopefully I stop the bleeding today, I was up all year and got killed over the last two weeks on my biggest two plays of the year.
