As a follow through to the current topic of the payout structure OF TOC.

And due to fact we have been advised Barona are looking at ways of making the payout on this event higher so other finalist places will be paid,
I have started this Vote which may or may not influence them which way to turn.

I have made this private so user names will not be shown only the results

The "last chance" qualifier is stated as $50 grand at www.barona.com not 100K$. I cant for the life of me see a reason Barona will increase their exposure by 25% to 1.25 million! Why increase investment risk to get a few more players?

On November 27, 28, and 29, 2007 Barona will host an Elimination Blackjack tournament with the top players sharing a guaranteed $100,000 prize pool. The first place winner from the qualifying tournament will receive at least $40,000 and a seat in the UBT Tournament of Champions on the last weekend of November 2007 (a $10,000 value). Before the final table begins, 7 Wildcards will be drawn and a Wildcard Round will be played simultaneously with the winner receiving a seat in the UBT Tournament of Champions.[/FONT]

Barona Closed

Maybe some local will know better if this would be short term or longer but on front of Barona's site it now says:

Barona is closed:
Due to the currrent wildfires, Wildcat valley Road and Barona raunch is closed until further notice

Every promo link I click at www.barona.com says its a $50K event....

If so, doesnt that mean Barona has lowered the event pay out after it canceled the last event?
