re GN's cards n sharks

this is pretty good bang for the buck,or so it seems with 25,000 "guaranteed"1st place @ 100.entry and most likely a neccessary 100.rebuy.

that said, does anyone know #1,..if the final table payouts are real cash or the dreaded "promo chip"variety,...and #2,.. whaddya figure the final turnout will be for this event?

[LeftNut]

All prize winners are given a choice of cash, slot/VP credits, or (their words) tax-free promo chips.

Wish I could give you a figure for the attendance but it's been awhile since I played a $100 LV GN BJT. For me, the travel expenses are a mite steep for the dreaded one-advance format. The foggy memory recalls about 200 players +/-.

I'm not aware if they are the good or bad promo chips, perhaps someone else can answer that for you.

make mine cash then,..please,..lol. I'll be in town for a different kind of tournamemnt,..so I'll be able to take advantage of this one. (altho,I've never been able to even smell the final table at any GN event,..ever.

thanks for the help.
