As I said, I'm indebted to CBJ because it was a chance viewing of that show that led me to become a bjt.com forum botherer!

its my fault you're here?? damn it.... i feel so responsible! sorry, BJT.com!! lol

as for CB3, its been talked about for years now, so it may very well make a return at some point.... imagine all the Reachy, Jrs we can attract from across the pond again! ;)

Poor format

:flame: UNHH!!The lack of a full floating first base also gives an advantage to 1st and 3rd base, should they happen to be counters. The whole format is hokey pokey ! UNHH!! :flame: BC

Huh? How do you believe the order of the card dealing gives an advantage to 1st and 3rd base?

Payne did not make first max bet

You know, I thought I heard that too, but then I thought maybe he just said that it was John Payne's first max bet of the night. If somebody has it on tape or DVD/DVR, maybe they could check it? (It'll be on repeats too, so I suppose that's an option for checking also.)
OK. I had another reason for reviewing this episode so I paid particular attention to this question. The announcer did screw up, what else is new? He said John Payne made the first max bet of the session when in fact it was the second but it was Payne's first max bet. Now everyone can get a good night's sleep knowing that the announcers continue to give inaccurate information and we are not loosing our minds.
