I ran a few numbers yesterday that may be informative. Doubling 13v3 in this game will win 33.1% of the time, and push 4.8% of the time. It's difficult to assess how often a push will suffice for me, so we'll assume half the time. That gives the double a 35.5% chance of me winning the table.

Since Richard's best reaction for Your double is SR, then with the Push you benefit when Frank Busts or Pushes or loses by Point.

As I show already Frank has to hit 'til 17 and
P17=P18=P19=P20=P21= 8.28% (P bust) = 58.6%
D17 x 1/13 x (58.6 + 8.28) + D18 x 1/13 x (58.6 + 2 x 8.28) + ... + D21 x 1/13 x (58.6 + 5 x 8.28) = 3.99 ~ 4%

As we can see when you Push with the Dealer on 21 you advance with (58.6 + 5 x 8.28) = 100% that's how it suppouse to be.

When you push (4.8%) You advance with 4%. This is 83.3% of the time.

Hi everyone! I'm setting up the [url="http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-26583/World_Series_of_Blackjack/]guide[/url] for this show at TV Tome and was searching around for information I found this - so cool to see someone here who's actually on the show! I guess I could be described as sort of a casual fan - I've never actually played any blackjack before myself and this is the first card game show on television I've ever really followed. I'm working hard to get my guide updated (since it's six weeks into the show and this is only just now going up.)
