Other factors that I'm interested in are:
1. starting BR - size of min and max bets. My first preference 25,000 with 500 min and 25,000 max. Second preference: 10,000 with 100 min and 5,000 max
TBJPA rules will apply, which are $500 starting BR with $5 to $200 betting limits.
2. Since it's one on one I feel that whomever bets first should have the last bet
An even number of hands will be played and should we play a series of matches, the loser will start second on the following match, (except for the deciding match where high card will be used to decide who is first base).
3. DAS allowed
Yes, all TBJPA rules will apply.
4. Allow splitting ALL pairs up to 4 hands - this includes aces
Splitting will be allowed up to 3 times for same value cards, except for aces, which will only be allowed to be split once.
5. Allow hitting on split aces rather than the conventional one card only
No, only one card on split aces.
6. Surrender available - your cards are great!
Yes, and the Surrender cards will be used.
7. DD cards face DOWN - increases suspense
No, all DD will be dealt face up. I agree it is more suspenseful dealt down, however the reason the TBJPA deals all DD face up is to avoid any possible mis-deal.
Example: If DD cards where all to be dealt face down and the dealer makes a mistake and deals face up, the card would have to be burned and pulled from play. It couldn't be the players option to keep or burn nor their opponents option either.
finally - lets see how others feel about this one:
SECRET BET (1) per match
No, this is straight old fashion elimination style blackjack. No added extras.
NO MULLIGANS/POWER CHIPS
Yes, you are correct, none of these will be used.
I prefer double deck out of a shoe to prevent the hole carders
