Beau Rivage casino (biloxi, ms.) is hosting a bj tourney sept. 17th & 18th. The 2nd annual "Flying Aces" tournament pays 50,000 total & 25,000 to the winner. Entry fee is 100.00. Although this looks extremly attractive, the last tourney had over 300 players. (it seems the "Beau" comps many of its players in). Overall, it still remains a nice "overlay"...(the registration # @ the beau is 1-800-964-7036).

Flying Aces

Thanks for the heads up. I couldn't get the entry compted. Matter of fact all I could get is casino rate on the rooms, so I'll just stay at the YMCA (President). Due to the hurricane I missed the Grand. Who won my SLK?

More than Aces may be flying

It looks like Ivan may be attending.

Any guess as to when the Beau Rivage cancels this event?

It's Official, No tournament

I just got off the phone with Joanne at the Beau Rivage, and this weekend's Flying Aces Blackjack Tournament has indeed been cancelled due to the approach of Hurricane Ivan.

BTW, when I posted the map in the last message, I didn't realize that it would automatically update as the National Hurricane Center did updates. Kinda neat.
