BJT Poker night?

Sounds good
You know I'll be there since my slow transition between BJ and Poker. I did inquire about this same subject on Party Poker about 6 months ago. At that time they did not have the capability ( maybe desire? ) to set up private torunaments, only private ring games. Has this changed or are you considering another site? I do like the female avatars on PP in positions 1, 7 and 8.
Any night would be fine.

Andy Lives Where?
After reading your post, I did a Google search to see if there really was a place called Bury, England. Damn, there is! And it sounds like a pretty nice place if you can get used to the language. Example: They have a "Kerbside Recycling Scheme".
I do jump back into BJ now and then Andy. I will say that the players on poker from the Commonwealth countries are a lot more civil then the trash-talking some American players do. Thanks for remembering that we are playing games!

Heresy? Maybe. :joker:
But I think we could have fun playing some sit and go or multi-table poker tournaments amongst ourselves. I'm in the process of setting it up at Noble Poker.
I'll post more when the details are finalized.

Poker site
Ken I have a poker site that is already to host private sit & goes at this time if Nobles falls through.
They will also host satellites to big of the medium size events at the land base casinos. They are not as big as PP, Stars, or Empire so the caliber of play is a lot poorer.
I like that I am not playing against top poker pro's and easier to win...LOL
They give away some nice satellite prizes, like seats at $150,000 tournaments and all expences.
So far I have not seen very good compitition either, gotta love that...LOL

Don't bother trying credit cards. They're a waste of effort. Most credit cards will be declined at online casinos or poker rooms. I recommend funding a Neteller account with a bank account. http://www.neteller.com

Hello, Ken.
Great idea. My only suggestion (since they already show the chip counts) is that ESPN is airing the 2005 World Series of Poker events on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m EDT, which might cut down on the participation somewhat. I'm happy to tape it so I can skip over the incessant ads for Levitra, etc., but it's just a thought.
I enjoy playing at Noble Poker from a software point of view, but they are on the slow side when it comes to withdrawals - about 2-3 days is normal. Count me in, if you move ahead with this.

Very good point about ESPN on Tuesdays. Let's see... Wednesday afternoon has Global's tournaments, so I don't want to do Wednesday night. Thursdays conflict with Kenny E's radio show. How about Monday nights?
I'm looking at Noble for a couple of reasons. Their main page has a mention of private ring games and tournaments, and that's what got me thinking about this. And, their new $1 Million sit and go challenge sounds like something that would be interesting to many here. By the way, I expect our private tournaments, even if they are structured as sit and go events, will probably not be allowed to participate in the Million challenge. It would be too easy to rig the outcome when you're playing with the same players in tournament after tournament.

Monday night Football
I think Wed. Nights will be the best, no football schedule then.

Dead Money
Joep wasn't the last four WSOP champions considered "DEAD MONEY" at the start?
Becareful what you ask for you may just get it....LOL
Joep I'm sure poker night will be just like the BJ Sit & Go events where you won't make any side bets with me over the out come between (just) us.
I don't understand why a "Pro" like you won't bet "DEAD MONEY" like me anytime you can. I am starting to understand how you got your middle name.
Joe "MEOW" Pain....LOL

No "Meow" Here
After we had made several side bets during Globals sit & go's,which by the way you did not come out ahead on.I began to realize that my table play was affected by it.You see since we were betting at times the same amount of money on a side bet as the tournament pays.
So I tended to focus on your bankroll more than the other players which is not the right way to play.So I decided that it was not good for my game. Now if you can some how set up a head to head match between just me and you I will play you everyday and twice on Sundays for any amount of money as long as it's you playing and not a hired shill.
I would suggest a match on the cruise but I would not want to ruin your vacation by defeating you in front of all your peers.
You know what they say if after 30 minutes you can't figure out who the fish on the table is then its YOU........ here Fishy Fishy

Something is fishy?
Meow, how can you say you want to play me on the Cruise when your not even signed up yet? Come on and sign-up and we can get a Head to Head match set-up, how about best 2/3?
If Global-Player is willing to set up a head to head tournament (which by the way I think would be a great idea), I would be more then glad to play you anytime.
Don't get me wrong "Meow" I personally think your one of the top players around. I just like the challange of playing against better players. Since Ken Smith has been so busy lately, and Hollywood and Blackwood don't play any Sit and Go tournaments I asked you to play since your just behind them in tournament play....LOL
I understand you not wanting to play me and my next trip to Vegas we can get together and I'll buy you a saucer of milk....LOL
I guess we need to make it $100 side action so you won't worry about the $50 first prize. And by the way we did finish even on our side action, after I won five of six games from you, I felt sorry and played you double or nothing until we got even. I didn't want to take your money, even from a big MEOW like you...LOL.
Later MEOW, I'll call in for tonights show. Now I'm only 50 behind Ken...LOL

Hi, Ken.
Monday is a good idea; beyond MNFootball, it's definitely laundry night. If you start fairly early, like 6:30 p.m. EDT, there won't be much of a conflict with MNF, which starts at, what, 8 p.m. EDT??
