Don't mean to steal Ken's announcement, but this has been on Global Player's website for a few days now and it hasn't been posted here yet.

BlackjackTournaments.com Tournament

On July 24th, Global-Player Casino presents another blackjack tournament in cooperation with Ken Smith and his board BlackjackTournaments.com. The entry fee will be $50.

The first round of the tournament starts at 3:00 pm EDT (12:00 noon PDT, 19:00 GMT) and we expect the tournament to take around 3.5 hours.

100% of the entries plus an additional $500 if more than 50 players participate, or $1000 if more than 80 players participate will be paid out to the five finalists as follows:

* 1st place: 45%
* 2nd place: 25%
* 3rd place: 15%
* 4th place: 10%
* 5th place: 5%

Another $250 (5 x $50) in (regular) bonus will be paid out to the 2nd places at the semi-final tables.

Last but not least there will be no fee for all Sit & Go Tournaments the whole Sunday through.

Thanks ptaylor, I've been out in Vegas and haven't kept up with the announcement. This should be a fun event.

Ken,

I figured you were busy winning all the tourneys in Vegas and overlooked posting this. Good luck this weekend at the Venetian!

See you on GP next weekend, just hope you are to my right if we are on the same table!

:)

Pat

PS: One question, I didn't see anything about rebuys. Are there going to be any offered?
