I seem to have lots of trouble keeping my Caesars connection comp balance at reasonably low levels. My current balance is back over $3k. I was pleasantly surprised last year to find that I could use Caesars connection comps to pay the entry fee to the LVH million dollar bj tournament. Does anyone know whether this applies to this year's tournament given the impending sale of LVH, and if so, how long this option might be available?
Are there decent tournaments at other Caesar's properties where one can use connection comps to pay entry fees? Has anybody run across any decent shopping uses for Caesars connection comps? I'm hoping for something other than standard overpriced casino gift shops selling mostly logoed items. So far the best shopping opportunities I've found are in AC. Bally's Park Place has a jewelry store and clothing boutique, while AC Hilton also has a clothing boutique. Caesars AC has some plausible uses for comp points, but mostly they force you to use $2 of comps for $1 of stuff.
