I'll be there! Already signed-up for 5 of the Tournaments. Still looking for a "good" female partner for the Jack and Jill Tournament, if someone's interested.

Ready to defend my Title from February,in one of the Conventional Tournaments...

Also ready to "Talk to the Cards" and "Work 'em"!! Player of the week honors would be rather nice, in addition to the extra $5,000 for the Honors.

Beware electronic BJ at Cherokee

While I'm thinking about it.... anyone going to Cherokee for the tournaments is advised to avoid their electronic BJ (on certain Game Master video poker machines). The pay table says it's 2:1 but that's video poker talk for what most of us BJ players would call 1:1. Cost me $20 to learn that lesson the hard way.

That's pretty much standard at all casinos. The pay schedule also says 2:1 for an ordinary win but that "2" includes the return of the "1" that you bet which was subtracted from your bankroll when you pressed the "deal" button.

I too lost about $25 to learn the lesson the hard way.

Utvolfan and I are planning on getting there Friday the 25th and leaving Monday the 28th. Looking forward to seeing some of you again and meeting others!

The Tulsa events are coming up fast. Anyone on the fence about coming, just get yourself up there. It's guaranteed to be a good time.

Beat you there...

I'm already here and just picked up Dr. Bass a little while ago. Skip (Dreamer) and Joep should be arriving within the hour, both Themom82 and Tammie Brown will be arriving tonight and Swog gets in tomorrow early.

Looks like the gang is already to play for the "Player of the Week" $5,000 bonus Eric is offering this time.

Hope to see lots of players up here this week, I'll try and keep y'all up dated with the tournament details.

Can't make it

I, unfortunately, can't make it due to some prior obligations.

But...I must echo Mr. Smith's statement that if you're on the fence, go!

The last time Cherokee hosted tournaments, it was a great time. Eric Woods was a great host and went out of his way to make sure that things went well.

For those that didn't make it last time, I highly recommend it and only see it being even more fun this time. For those that went last time, you already know what it's like and I'm sure most will return.

I definitely hope to make it for the next one.

Good luck to everyone who's going, I know you'll all have an awesome time.
