.... i don't think this is specific just to me, it sounds like anyone who plays these tourneys will get the refund.

I got that too, but wasn't sure whether it was a widespread thing, so I didn't mention it. Since I'm headed to Pearl River Resort for tonight's WSOB Qualifier, I won't be at Global. Good luck to all who are. I hear gflan is at the final table in the early one. I don't know who else.
 
May be just a discount

i think there are unlimited rebuys in the first level, no? so the $20 refund essentially becomes a discount for those who end up buying in multiple times.

good luck @ the WSOB qualifier, i will be busy tonite as well & unable to play the online tourney either.

1st Global Christmas tournament

Into day's tournament Global returned all entries and re-buys to all that played.

Not sure the same offer will given tonight.
