Info On World Series of Blackjack Satellites

Here it is! Here's the fastest, easiest way you can win a seat into World Series of Blackjack IV.

On January 23rd, there will be four satellite tournaments at the Las Vegas Hilton. Each one is limited to 6 players. The buy-in is $2500 (with a $50 entry fee). Win one table and you're in as one of the 40 players competing for $1 million in prize money in World Series of Blackjack IV!

On January 24th, there will be two satellite tournaments at the Las Vegas Hilton. These are limited to 18 players each...where three tables of 6 will compete with the top two finishers advancing to a final table. Win that final table and you advance to the World Series. Buy in for these tournaments is $1,000 (with a $25 entry fee).

Satellite, promotion code ZWS2500 for the $2,500 event and ZWS1000 for
the $1,000 event. Call hours are 7am-10pm PST daily. The last day for
pre-registration will be Sunday January 21.

You may sign up for one event each day. If you qualify in one of the $2500 events and have pre-paid for a $1,000 event, the $1,000 buy-in would be refunded since you can only qualify once. Space is very limited, so call now! Those of you who track these things can do the math and realize what a tremendous value this offers.

World Series of Blackjack IV player events get underway on January 25 with the competition itself kicking off on January 27. The winner of World Series of Blackjack IV will be crowned on January 30.

These offer tremendous value, though admittedly at high entry fees.
I expect these seats to sell out in a hurry, so don't delay making your decision.

I have also signed up for one of each tournaments. With four seats being awarded from the sit 'n go's and two seats from the mini-tournaments this is an excellent way to get into the WSBJ and I feel quite a value.

Lets see six players from BJT make it in (including myself of course).

Maxwell- I miss playing against you on Global. We had some really good times and matches.

Rando- It never fails that we wind up on the same table at Bet21 during the evening tournaments. The few times your not at my table your at Stormys. lol. At least it seems that way. The one thing that is a fact is we always have fun and very competitive matches.

Oh, I'm no Casino Exec...I'm the Vice-President, Programming for GSN and I've overseen the World Series of Blackjack since its inception...which is a story for another time. But kudos here go to our friends at the Las Vegas Hilton who have provided the World Series of Blackjack a home for the last two years.

What a deal! I may have a second life after Durant, OK afterwards...LOL.

January 23rd - 24 spots at $2,550 per seat for a 1 out of 6 chance (4 events) to make the WSOB this year.

And the next day (January 24th) thay are offering 36 spots at $1,025 per seat for a 1 out of 18 shot (2 events).

I would suggest signing up ASAP, I would assume the seats will be going fast.

I just registered for both satellites. Really looking forward to meeting the BJT members I already know plus some that I never met.

I do have one question for KBelinkoff: How can I guarantee that Ken Smith will not be at my table? :laugh: :eek: :laugh:
 
What about 2008? They doing the same thing for 2008? We can pay our own way instead of being invited? How and when?

The shooting for the 2007 just finished a few weeks ago.

The airing will be in June and July (I "thought" that's what I heard) on the GSN.

As far as next year, 2008, Joe P did an interview with Kevin (got it right this time) on the radio show, Be in Action, in which Kevin was discussing the planning for 2008.

For what it is worth, Kevin, why not finalize some of the plans and advertise them during the WSOB? For example when FOX has it's football games they plug the upcoming events - like Idol, 24, World Series, etc.

Since the people watching the program are potential players in the next WSOB do like UBT does and send them to a web site, or regional casio for more details.

Heck, cut a deal with Russ Hamilton &/or TX so that the winners of their respective tours gets a seat in the main event! Just do SOMETHING!

Finding out information for the 2007 qualifiers was HARDER than pulling teeth - and I should know about that! :laugh:
