Let's crash the Silverton on Nov. 7th

[Hollywood]

It's official. In honor of the new 'World Series of Blackjack' being filmed that week in Vegas, we'll be getting together to crash the Silverton's Sunday 6 pm blackjack tourney on November 7th. It's like 20 bucks & the locals will never know what hit 'em...

so calling all blackjack pros from this season's WSoBJ, as well as others from the community who will be in town that week -- mark your calendars as we storm the Silverton & get ready for another great week in blackjack history.

IN OTHER NEWS -- its official, Hollywood Dave will be @ the Hilton for the Fall Harvest tourney starting Nov. 4th, as well as attending the 4th annual World Poker Players Conference at the Bellagio Nov. 6th. My b-day is Nov. 12th so I will be in town through the 14th -- as I'm sure many others will be as well. Let's start planning some events, get togethers, dinners, etc throughout the week and keep this community alive! There are so many new members since our last outing during the MD II finals, so I expect to meet twice as many new faces... rowdy gamblers unite!

Silverton on Sunday

Me at the Silverton on Sunday would be like Hollywood Dave at the Stardust. Then again the StarBUST which has me and Hollywood on a short list of tournament players not welcomed. But the list is growing and after WSOBJ 2 the list will grow even longer......

Silverton: Call before going

The Silverton Casino has been remodeling. I was told that the Sunday
tournaments were cancelled until renovation was completed----BUT the tourney's are scheduled to begin very soon. Hopefully, they will be
available Nov 7.

I'd call before going because that casino it's "way out younder".

No Silverton Tournament on Sunday

Thanks Opus21 for pointing this out. I spoke to someone at the Silverton today who confirmed that the Sunday tournaments have been cancelled until further notice. It also sounds like if they resume they may be rescheduled for a different day, perhaps Wednesday.

Sorry guys, no Sunday fun this weekend.
