Hey BJ'ers...good news...October 29th there will be a Blackjack tournament being held at the LVH....12 noon til 4:00 PM....$25.00 buy in....winner takes 60% 2nd place takes 40%. all entries excluding re buys..receive $25.00 in free slot play with their entry....60 players max...if it is successful..there will be one every month in 2013. It's Sad

It's sad that a once major tournament series with a $100,000 prize pool and which drew players from all over North America, and perhaps beyond, has been replaced by an event with a maximum $1,500 prize pool.

Actually, it hasn't been many years ago since the Hilton hosted an annual event
with a guaranteed one million dollars for first place. They did this for about four or five years (guessing) in a row.
I knew one of the million dollar winners (the late Sam Vaughn).
