Online gambling OK in Washington state

Washington state was one of the first to explicitly prohibit Internet gambling, making the offense a felony. Now, it appears that the state legislature there has amended the law, and now you can gamble for recreational purposes, as long as you don't run a website for profit.

It's not much, but it is progress in the right direction.

I believe there are now ten states that outlaw playing online.
 
had not heard this change in the law. glad to know now that the swat team will not come knocking down my door.

just read an email from the apcw, stating that the online gaming bill was not overturned in wa. state. looks like hb1243 was confused with hb 1343. rep. chris strow, the author of the hb 1243, was not optimistic in the bill being able to resurface, yet would try to attain support to keep the law intact, but change the wording to reduce the punishment from a felony, to a misdemeanor.

Hey Marichal, when you play online BJT while in Wa cover the windows with foil and pop a little peep hole in the foil to keep watch outside. Also, a good pit bull or a rot helps to slow the SWAT team. This should give you time to flush your puter down the toilet. Remember, leave no evidence! :laugh:
 
yep. or could have 51 pit bulls, like mike vick of the atlanta falcons. hearing that some had limbs missing. they must of been hungry pits, ( buy a can or two of alpo vick, with your millions) or he enjoyed a leg of pit bull for dinner. atlanta, must sure be proud of the vickster, as their team leader. just went out to buy a couple more rolls of foil!!!!!!!!
