    I give Angie the edge!

With all do respect to Walker, Angie was on an much bigger stage with a lot more at stake. I have to give Angie the award for best newbie showing so far for this year.

Angie (comeonseven) made the semifinals in this years LV Hilton finals and was just one table from the finals for the $1,000,000 1st prize.

If she only hadn't changed clothes...lol.

Thanks for the kind words everyone

Jack, you remembered correctly. This was my first tournament. But, I think Txtourplayer is right about Angie. I can honestly say I wasn’t thinking about the $65K at the final table. That probably wouldn’t be the case if it were $1M on the line. So, her showing is defiinitely more impressive.

    Walker, I feel bad now!

I am sorry I didn't mean anything bad about my last post on this thread. What you did was very good (I haven't got passed a semifinals this year). After I read my post I was hoping you didn't think I was putting you down or knocking you showing in the finals.

Anytime you can cash in at a tournament your a winner. Congrads again!

    No worries

I didn't take any offense to what you wrote, Txtourplayer, so don't fell bad. As for your not passing the semi-finals, it's just a matter of time. With all the tournaments you're playing in August, I wouldn't be surprised if your drought ended in the near future.

    Regards,

    Calling Cmonseven, where are you?

Actually, I was hoping to get a rise out of cmonseven. After all, she coined the term "Moneytaker" and I had previously kidded her about someone usurping her title by winning a major tournament the first time out.

I too, agree with you, TX, from the perspective of the magnitude of the endeavor. To use a current idiom of the younger set, Angie was awesome at the Hilton. Let's face it, being on national TV in the running for $1 Mil is not an everyday occurrence! I am looking forward to seeing the show when it airs.
