Comanche Red River 1 Mil Tourney Finished With 1700 Tues Nite, Saw A Lot Of People Losing Chips And A Lot Of Empty Seats,i Expect Lower Than 1600 Total To Advance To Next Round. Heard Of Tables Being Won With 700 Chips.
Out of the 600 invited only 400 or so showed up. I finished both my days with a total of $2620. Hopefully it is good enough to go to the next round
I finished day 2 at Red River with a combined total of 1855. Maybe I will make it to Saturday afternoon. Day 2 was rough.....

Red River High 3480 Low Was 1450 Or 1430. There Are 4 People With Over 3000. Should Be A Good Tournament. Last Year 2500 Made The Third Round At Red River. I Don't Play Until 5 So Might Get A Feel For What It Will Take To At Least Wild Card To Third Round. Tables This Year At Red River Seeded Different Than Last Year. This Year Is More Of A Random Draw. I Am In Top 20 At Crrc And Have Two People With More Than Me At My 2nd Round Table. Hope To Take Them Down And Not Worry About Having To Wild Card. $1mil Me and my son made it from second round to third, but couldn't make it one more to get into the money. Wildcard from second round was 2670. At least my son won his table for $200. So close. Did anyboby here make it into the money Sunday? I still have the quarterly coming up in Jan.
I won my table in the second round. Went into the third round with the 2nd lowest amount of chips on the table. It came down to me and another guy. I had him by $130 bucks. He bet 1,000 and so did I. He gets a 10 and I get a 17. The dealer is sitting on 10. He doubles down and gets a 10. Dealer bust. He wins. I didnt think about it till later but I should have doubled down on my 17 and hope for a 3 or 4. I'm happy with how I did in my first tourn. If only I could have beat one more person. I could have won at least $1400. Lots of fun and I will def be playing in more tournaments.
